APPLICATION OF THE SANDBLASTING PROCESS

It is the process of impacting the sandblasting sand on the metal surface with high-pressure air. During this impact, the sand abrades the metal surface at the micron level while at the same time cleaning all kinds of unwanted substances, such as oil, dirt, and rust, on the surface and preparing the surface for paint application. Sandblasting boilers are used for mobile sandblasting in open areas. With sandblasting boilers, works such as sandblasting of ships in shipyards and sandblasting of large constructions can be done. In addition, sandblasting of very large parts in sandblasting rooms is also carried out with this type of machine. Sandblasting booths are used for manual/automatic sandblasting of medium-sized parts. It is used for sandblasting parts with very intricate / complex geometric structures and for sandblasting special and sensitive parts. Since sandblasting booths are small and closed systems, they are ideal for companies that have space problems.

AUTOMATIC SANDBLASTING

Usually, automatic sandblasting machines with turbines are used for sandblasting steel materials, profiles, sheet metal elements that have not been cut or welded, or steel materials with certain dimensions of cut and welded steel materials, and for sandblasting small and many metal parts. Turbine Automatic Shot Blasting machines work with semi-automatic systems. The advantage of this system is that material large enough to enter the machine can be blasted quickly and economically. The disadvantage is that large materials cannot be sandblasted. For example, you cannot blast a construction machine, a fuel tank, a container, a steel bridge, or other large materials that need to be blasted on-site in a sandblasting machine.
